On the second day, after breakfast, visit the Monastery of the Virgin Mary in Durunka, an important pilgrimage site overlooking the desert hills. The journey continues to the revered Monastery of Al-Muharrak, often referred to as the “Second Jerusalem,” where the Holy Family is believed to have spent an extended period.
